TSP's 2019 Imbolc Moon Playlist

by Denise, HPS of North Wyldewood Coven

“Whenever ye have need of any thing, once in the month, and better it be when the moon is full, then shall ye assemble in some secret place and adore the spirit of She, who is Queen of all witches.”

excerpt from "The Charge of the Goddess" by Doreen Valiente

The moon, whether dark or full or in between, has drawn our attention for centuries. It’s attractive in its mystery. The moon glow of the moon hides as much as it illuminates.

It’s a monthly reminder of the cycle of birth, life, death, and rebirth. The moon goes through astrological phases (dark moon in Scorpio for example) and gives us guidance on what our focus could be, should we wish to follow it. Head over to Brittany’s Rebel Astrology website for much deeper knowledge and wisdom of astrology.

The moon is romantic as well as freeing because moonlight is very flattering. It produces a glamour so everyone looks beautiful!

It is dangerous for things hide in the shadows and the dark. If you confront and work to embrace these “shadows” of your soul, then you can potentially gain great power and a sense of inner peace.

Sometimes the moon brings out our inner animal, our “wildness”, and free us to celebrate it as we “dance, feast, make music and love...”
